Ever look down at your hands and wonder, When did I get so old? Between inclement weather, pollution and stresses our skin takes a constant beating. And the breakouts! Granted, last night’s chips probably didn’t help, but overall you’ve been really trying to be healthy, yet nothing seems to help your skin.
You’ve read the ads and tried it all – scrubs, night creams, facial peels, astringents, loofahs… No luck.
Then you run into a friend you hadn’t seen in months and she looks drop-dead fantastic. That may not have been all there was to it but what an easy, painless and affordable thing to try. And it makes some sense because just like the rest of the body needs specific nutrients we don’t find in food, why wouldn’t our skin? You’d tried everything else (and some of them were doozies) but this seemed too easy. But who can say? If looked at in terms of simple value per pound – if vitamins do offer the improvements that Sally experienced? It sure beats the prospect of more invasive and painful treatments down the road.
